The living's leaderboard

Hall of Champions

The Hall of Champions in the Nexus: nine boards (fame, stars, achievements, the Arena solo and in groups, weekly fame and dungeons, and guilds' living and dead fame), how each is ranked, and the reward each board's top 10 hold while they stay there.

The Legends remember the dead. The Hall of Champions honours the living: nine boards, each ranking every account (or guild) by one thing, and each giving its top 10 a reward of its own while they hold the place. Lose the place and the reward goes; win it back and it returns.

Finding it

The Hall stands on top of the Arena island's tower: cross the arched bridge east from the Nexus spawn, go in at the tower's door and climb the spiral stair inside it. At the top, east of the cap room beside the stairwell, is the Champions Monument. Stand by it and press View (or 0) to open the boards. Round the tower's balcony, each board's #1 stands on a plinth as their character, under a plaque with the board, their name and their score, seen from anywhere about the tower: the court, the bridge, the stair. Standing by a statue and pressing View opens the Hall at that statue's board.

/champions lists every board's top three and your own places in the chat, from anywhere.

The boards and their rewards

The rewards come in three steps: #1, #2-3 and #4-10.

BoardRanks#1#2-3#4-10
Famethe most fame on a living character (each account's best)+3% loot+2% loot+1% loot

Arena Soloyour best Arena run on your own: its wave, then the quicker run+15% fame from Arena waves+10%+5%
Arena Groupthe best Arena runs with others: each place is a whole group (the same players, its best run), and everyone in it holds the place+15% fame from Arena waves+10%+5%
Weekly Famefame earned this week, on all your characters together+10% experience and fame+6%+3%
Weekly Dungeonsdungeons cleared this week (be near a boss when the last one falls)+3% loot in dungeons+2%+1%
Guild Livinga guild's living fame: its members' living characters, counting members who played in the last two weeks+2% loot for every member+1%+0.5%
Guild Deada guild's dead fame: every character that died in it this year (afresh each 1 January, UTC)+2% loot for every member+1%+0.5%
  • Loot: the boards' loot boosts add up to at most +4% (Fame's, the guild boards' and, in a dungeon, Weekly Dungeons' together). The Legends' +1% and a guild hall's own (1% to 3%) come on top of that. "In dungeons" means anywhere but the realms.
  • Guilds: each place on the guild boards is a whole guild, shown as its best member's character, and every member (staff aside) holds the reward.
  • Groups: a group only counts while all its players are ranked (not guests or staff). You can be in more than one group on the board; your best place is the one that counts. Its statue shows the whole group.
  • Arena fame: the two Arena boards' rewards add up, so #1 on both gives +30% fame from Arena waves.
  • Experience at level 20 turns into fame, so Weekly Fame's reward is more fame too.
  • Glow and name colour: the Customize window (Escape, then Customize) picks where each comes from. Your name: an achievement rank's colour, or the Achievements board's while you hold a place there. Your glow: the Stars board's, the Legends' red (a character on a Legends board, the dead's fame), your own /glow, or none. Left on Automatic, your own glow shows first, then the Stars glow, then the Legends' red. A choice whose place you lose falls back to the usual order and comes back with the place.
  • /boosts lists every reward you hold.

Weekly boards

Weekly Fame and Weekly Dungeons start afresh every Monday at midnight UTC, as the weekly quests do; the board shows how long is left. So a new player can top them in their first week. Guild Dead starts afresh every 1 January at midnight UTC.

When it changes

The boards are ranked again every 5 minutes. When a ranking moves you, the game tells you in the chat ("You're #2 on the Weekly Fame board…", or that a reward has ended) and the reward starts or stops within a minute or so, wherever you are. Ties go to the higher tiebreak (for Stars, your classes' best fame together; for the Arena, the quicker run), then to the older account. Guests and staff aren't ranked.

The board

The monument's window has a tab for each board (your own place shows on its tab while you hold a reward). Each tab says what it ranks and what each step gives, shows its top three on a podium with their characters, lists #4 to #10, and ends with your own place, even far below the top 10, and how much you'd need to reach #10.
